Resilient Communities Matter

Committed to Community Disaster Support

Our Mission

KB Tenacious Emergency Support Foundation (KBT-ESF) strengthens community resilience by providing clear information, practical assistance, and compassionate support before, during, and after emergencies.

We focus on real-time disaster reconnaissance, rural welfare checks, non-urgent missing-person intelligence support, and essentials like documentation help, disaster notary services, and basic supply distribution when residents are affected.

Our mission is to deliver clarity, safety, and dignity to individuals and families facing crisis, always acting within our capabilities, always in coordination with official responders, and always with a commitment to service.

What We Do

The KB Tenacious Emergency Support Foundation (KBT-ESF) provides real-time disaster intelligence, community support, and on-the-ground assistance to rural and at-risk areas throughout WA state, with an initial focus in the southwest. Our work focuses on filling information gaps, supporting families in crisis, and helping emergency responders act faster and more effectively.

We operate in:

1. Disaster Reconnaissance & Field Intelligence

We gather accurate, real-time information during storms, severe weather, floods, and other emergencies, focusing on rural areas where delays or blind spots are common. Our recon teams provide:

  • Road and access-route condition checks

  • Flood-level monitoring and early impact assessments

  • Storm and disaster damage documentation

  • Safe-distance observation of hazards and infrastructure impacts

  • Rapid information relay to partners and emergency managers

Our goal is simple: give emergency managers the information they need before situations escalate.

2. Community Support & Welfare Check Services

Many rural residents face isolation during emergencies. We help bridge that gap by conducting:

  • Welfare check-in calls and remote outreach

  • Doorstep safety checks when conditions allow

  • Resource and needs assessments for affected families

  • Delivery of basic non-medical supplies or information

We focus on practical, human support, the small things that often make the biggest difference during a crisis.

3. Missing-Persons Intelligence Support

We are not law enforcement or a search team. Instead, we provide critical intel and family support, including:

  • Family support and guidance during missing-person situations

  • Timeline development and last-known-location clarification

  • Organization and filtering of tips and relevant information

  • Coordination and information sharing with appropriate agencies

This service is volunteer- and capacity-based, focused on clarity, compassion, and coordination.

4. Lay-Responder Stabilization

If we are present before EMS or fire services, we provide basic, non-advanced emergency care, including:

  • Basic first aid and CPR (when trained and certified)

  • Stop the Bleed support

  • Scene safety awareness and comfort care

  • Accurate information relayed to dispatch or responders

We do not perform medical procedures beyond training. Our priority is keeping people safe, calm, and stable until official responders arrive.

5. Family Assistance & Disaster Documentation

After floods, severe storms, or other disasters, many families feel overwhelmed and unsure where to begin. We help by:

  • Property damage documentation and photo reports

  • Support with insurance, FEMA, state aid, or assistance paperwork

  • Fraud-prevention guidance, assistance in contractor vetting, and recovery planning

  • Free disaster-related notary services for affected residents

This is one of our most valued services, especially after a disaster.

6. Logistics, Volunteer Support & Transport (Non-medical)

During emergencies, we assist with safe, non-emergency movements of people and resources:

  • Transport of volunteers or support personnel

  • Delivery of supplies, equipment, or information

  • Setup of rest areas or community support stations

  • Limited non-medical evacuation assistance in low-risk situations

We do not transport patients or perform rescue operations, but we can move the people who support the responders.

Our Promise

We are a capacity-based, volunteer-driven, public-benefit nonprofit.
We respond when safe, when possible, and when resources allow.
All services are provided with respect, integrity, and the goal of strengthening our community before, during, and after emergencies.
