How to Install the KBT-ESF App

How to Install on iPhone

The KBT-ESF app is a free Progressive Web App (PWA). You do not need to download it from the App Store. It runs in your browser and can be installed directly to your home screen in seconds.

1. Open http://app.kbt-esf.org/ in Safari (Safari required on iPhone).

2. Tap the "Share" button (box with arrow) at the bottom of your screen.

3. Scroll down and tap "Add" to Home Screen.

4. Tap "Add" in the top right corner.

The KBT-ESF icon will now appear on your home screen.

How to Install on Android

2. Tap the three-dot menu (top right) and select "Add" to Home Screen.

3. Tap "Add" on the prompt that appears.

Why a Web App and Not the App Store?

We chose a Progressive Web App for three reasons: it updates instantly without requiring you to download a new version, it works on every phone regardless of operating system, and it never requires App Store approval to release critical emergency updates. You always have the most current information.
